December Favourites

I skipped on doing a favourites last month as I really couldn't think of anything worth mentioning, this month I have only picked 5 products, but they're ones I have really relied on to get me through the month. If you living in the UK or any cooler climate these are very summery products as here in Sydney it has been very hot, and most days I've been wearing very little make-up if any. I hope they're interesting nonetheless and may provide help if you're going on a beach holiday or if you do reside here in Australia!

1. Banana Boat Sport SPF50+, this has been a real life saver in the past week as we've been having such hot weather and I've been enjoying spending time at the beach. This spray is so cooling, completely clear and doesn't need to be rubbed in so it's really easy to apply on the go. It doesn't have an offensive smell, it doesn't feel greasy and it's water resistant! It pretty much ticks all the boxes apart from these cans really don't last long, with it being an aerosol a lot of the product is lost when spraying and this bottle lasted less than a week,  but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

2. Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray. I do not know what I would do without this product in my life, not only does it moisturise my skin very easily without the greasy feeling but it contains citronella so it protects me from being eaten alive by mosquitoes whilst I sleep. I really react to any kind of insect bite and I hate the usual stinky greasy insect repellant so this spray is perfect and really affordable too.

3. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. This is a product I wanted to get my hands on for ages and now that I have I don't know how I ever lived without it. This product means I can leave my hair to dry naturally, and just spritz some of this on as well as applying oil to tame the frizz and I have perfect low maintenance beach waves with just the right amount of texture but no heavy feeling or stickiness.

4. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. When I saw that Stylist Magazine had listed this product of one of the top selling products in the UK for 2014 it came as no surprise to me. This concealer is so amazing for the price, I have both number 2 and number 3 and they offer so much coverage and are so easy to blend, they have been my go-to concealer for the whole of 2014. I have no bad words to say about this product.

5. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, this is a product I've had for a while and to be honest I'm trying to use up, but it really does the job of strengthening my nails and preventing breakage. I've noticed so much improvement and am actually managing to maintain decent length nails for the first time ever.
