Fun Thrifty Creative Christmas Wrapping

I just love everything about Christmas, this year we bought our first Christmas tree since I've been living in Australia and as soon as I put it up weeks ago I felt excited. I love dressing up the Christmas tree and wrapping up presents, its an excuse to be creative and also to feel excited and festive. I am a big fan of old fashioned wrapping and usually stick to brown paper with various adornments which I tend to collect throughout the year.

This year I've gone for red, gold and twine and have attached candy canes and chocolate hearts to the Robbie's nieces gifts just to add a little more sparkle. I try not to spend too much money on wrapping so I collect pieces of ribbon throughout the year and always have twine handy for crafty projects. I have a box dedicated to packaging and wrapping so I just pull what I can and always save and reuse too. I think it's important not to break the bank around this time of year and also to be considerate of the environment.

I love seeing how people wrap their presents and everyone's Christmas traditions, I will be posting my favourite Christmas movies and also my attempt at mince pie baking with kids too as I love festive posts!
