london baby!

Okay so i just moved into my halls of residence in New Cross, London, which will by my new home for the forthcoming year which is very very exciting!
My room is very small and very bland and boring however i am in the process of organising my things and trying to make it a bit more exciting and i'll post pictures when thats done...
I have six housemates who are all very nice, theyre all so diverse, from spain, belgium, italy, korea and the uk.
Ive been so busy ever since ive moved in catching up with old friends and of course making lots of new friends.
Today I met up with Tom one of my favourite old friends...

We had such a fun day today we found an amazing creperie near soho and we ate there which was so good and then we looked in lots of vintage shops and he bought me the most beautiful cupcake which was from the most adorable shop on carnaby street which sold cupcakes in almost every flavour imaginable. I chose the blueberry and yoghurt flavour mainly because it had a huge ice cream sweet on top...

Soo Josh came down last night which was absolutely lovely, it was a really short visit but well worth it, last night we just ate a meal together and relaxed and today i organised a surprise picnic and we ate a roast dinner in the evening, it was nice to have a break from cramming college work with boring shifts at work.

Ohhhh and he bought me one of my favourite presents everrrr!! Kat Von Ds book about her tattoo shop and autobiography and loads and loads of pictures! I love it...

I've had such a nice lie in today I get so tired in the week working late nights and getting up early doesnt go too well together, so today i decided to sleep in and have a bubble bath which was really nice. I'm now painting my nails my favourite grey colour. I'm going to try and upload at least one of my photos each day and today theres two which are on black and white 35mm film which I've processed and developed myself...





The first is a portrait of my sister which I took in the style of Helmut Newton and the second is a portrait of my dad.

This afternoon im going into college to model for my friends project the show, so I'm dressing up as a ballerina, it should be really fun.

Excuse the bizarre facial expression i was a little windswept. Oh dear...

Today has been so so busy I had to get up super early because I had errands to run before i had to go to college for 11. I took in two films to be developed one disposable camera and one ordinary colour film I'm picking them up on friday so i hope they turn out well. I also posted back the tshirt i ordered off topshop because its absolutely shapeless and ugly ]: anyway college was boring and uneventful although it was good to catch up with cerys, and work was really easy I finished ridiculously early.

I'm going to finish this blog tomorrow because im really sleepy.

So I've had a really busy weekend shooting Tom for my fourth photoshoot for my Final MaJor Project 'Fantasy versus Reality'. He wrote me a dream diary and we picked out one of his dreams to focus this shoot on, we chose a dream in which he was covered in multi-coloured feathers and we staged it on saturday, it took most of the day and was really tiring but it was definitely worth it.

I decided to use colour film, disposable camera, digital and polaroid for this shoot and these are the eight polaroids which I took and I really like how they turned out...






Im going to process and develop the other photos this week hopefully and now I've finally worked out how to use my scanner I'll upload them [:

Nicole Ritchie looks amazing even when shes pregnant! how annoying!

Today i decided against going to college in favour of going to Totnes with my nan, grandad and parents which was so much fun, I tried on vintage fur coats and crazy 50s hats with feathers! I also ate a pink fondant fancy which was so so yummy, I took a photo of it which i need to upload. yum yum.

Work tonight ]]: so not up for it! i want a night in with gossip girl and britains next top model please. [[:

Today I found out that House of Harlow, Nicole Ritchies jewellery range is launching on Asos soon, so finally we can get out hands on it in the UK. I'm so so excited! I absolutely love the statement cuffs and rings. They're perfect for updating plain tshirts with leggings or cut off shorts.



Alsoo Im ridiculously addicted to painting my nails atm and my current favourite nail varnish is a matte grey colour by Barry M, it was only £3 and its so so good. I plan to buy a cute pastel colour next, maybe a green or a pink colour.

This weeks going to be very busy, today I've just been relaxing with my family as my grandparents are visiting but they go home on wednesday ]: but tomorrow i have to start working hard at my project and start to process and develop the black and white 35mm film i took on friday. Then I'm hoping to meet up with my friend Tom whos at Plymouth uni and shoot with him for Friday or Saturday. I plan to recreate one of his crazy dreams including tonnes of multi-coloured feathers which should be fun.
