These photos show my dedication to the outfit post, as it was absolutely freezing outside when these were shot. I love this skirt, kindly sent to me from Dixi the aztec print is just my style and I love wearing monochrome. The texture of the skirt is also lovely and its very flattering. I styled it with my glittery Topshop boots and loved the mix in textures it created, along with the spikey necklace.

Simple Stripes

I've been searching for the perfect simple Breton t-shirt for a long time now, and I have finally found it in Uniqlo. I always shop for basics in Uniqlo, Topshop and Cos. I am on a bit of a shopping kick at the moment and I can't wait for Spring so I can wear less layers.
The necklace is another thing I'd been searching for, which I found in H&M, its just a simple silver cuff necklace.
Also thought I would photograph my bag of choice at the moment as it never makes it onto the blog.

I enjoy wearing and buying make-up but I usually go for the same look on a day to day basis. I don't wear heavy foundation or like a matte finish, and I just contour like crazy and also go for heavy mascara. I change up my nail varnish, eye shadow and lipstick but besides that it stays the same, so here are my favourites.

Bon Iver lyrics, obviously, anyone who knows me will know Bon Iver is pretty much all I listen to the majority of the time. Also a reference the bloody freezing weather we're experiencing in London at the minute! I'm absolutely shivering every time I leave my front door no matter how many layers I'm wearing.
Just attempting a quick outfit post but the photos were unflattering and it was apparent I was literally freezing. So here are some I took a few weeks ago which never made it up.

It was one of the many pieces of jewellery I'd admired and spotted on a few pretty ladies and lusted after for myself! He had no idea I wanted it but somehow magically bought it for me as a late birthday present.

What am I waiting for

So, just to explain that I am really ill at the moment at the same time as attempting to write my dissertation and complete my third year at university hence why the blog posts have been a bit sporadic.
In other news I was lucky enough to be asked to take backstage images and a video for a creative editorial shoot with Ruth Rose. We have been working together for 3 years now and it's always a pleasure!
The theme of this shoot was animals, and the creative hair stylist, make-up artist and stylist managed to create four amazing looks.
The first, and my favourite look, was the snake, with Christie at Nevs modelling. She had amazing pink hair and really worked the serpent look!

Next up was our lioness, Milina also at Nevs, who's beautiful blonde hair worked amazingly with the look!

Third was our beautiful parrot! She had the most amazing lips and really worked the orange lipstick. I loved her dress from the Topshop Surf Collection and her multicoloured fringe.

And lastly, was our zebra. She was an absolute dream to work with, and I don't think I was the only one who was jealous of her seemingly never ending legs!

So life has gotten pretty crazy for me, with my first dissertation hand-in looming as well as work commitments I've had no time for outfit photos or shopping unfortunately.
My birthday was 2 weeks ago, I'm now 22 boo. I definitely still feel like I'm 17 though and I still can't believe I'm in my last year at university!
My birthday consisted of lots of cake and champagne, shared with just close friends and family which was perfect.

Happy New Year everyone!! I can't believe its 2012 already, times been rushing by. I was fortunate enough to be taken to Moscow to celebrate with my good friend Archie. Russia was absolutely beautiful and crazy, I loved it. It was like being in a fairytale, thick snow on the ground, beautiful buildings, it was just perfect!

I love Christmas, I am predicting end of holidays blues when I get back from Moscow, at least having my Birthday tomorrow then travelling to Moscow will postpone it for a while.
I spent Christmas in Devon with my parents, grandparents, my sister and her boyfriend. It was a perfect day and I got so many presents, which I may post photos of tomorrow.
Every year I dress Pebbles up in wintery attire, which she doesn't like but isn't she the cutest?

She played happily in the wrapping paper for hours whilst Barney slept.

There were so many presents under the tree this year!

Chloes face was classic when she realised her lovely boyfriend had bought her a Kindle!

Christmas dinner is my absolute favourite!

London Christmas

So I've been lucky enough to have 2 Christmas day's already this year, one of which was spent with my 5 housemates, Camilla and I cooked the meal and afterwards we shared our secret santa gifts and watched some festive films :)

You can just about see the ridiculous portions Camilla and I served, we've never been good at presentation when it comes to food but it tasted delicious!

Everyone got into the Christmas spirit wearing Christmas hats and reading cracker jokes, I even wore a Christmas hat!

We even took some family group photos!

Crazy Cat Lady

So I'm at home in Devon now for Christmas so expect a Christmassy post tomorrow. It's my birthday on the 28th but hopefully I'll manage to do a couple of posts before I head to Moscow.
I've been a bit naughty whilst Christmas shopping and I have managed to also pick up a lot of things for myself. I spotted this cat blouse in Forever 21 and fell in love, I love sheer blouses and I love cats so it's a match made in heaven!

It also has a cut out shoulder detail which reminds me of Miu Miu.

I wore it with my favourite studded pumps and another new purchase, this Zara Parka.

Hope everyones having a lovely Christmas time, I love Christmas and I am enjoying spending mine at home with the family and cats.

Summer loving.

I absolutely love travelling, and as I am preparing for my next trip to Russia for new year, I have found myself reminiscing about my beautiful visit to Italy in September. It already seems like years ago and I haven't posted any of the photos on here yet. Usually I love winter but after finding myself hibernating today to avoid the cold I am looking forward to my next sunny getaway.

We spent 3 days in Rimini which was a great relaxing break, we also took a drive to Lake Como for the day which was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited!

The build up to Christmas is always really busy but I'm sure this month I'm way more behind than usual, that combined with uni work mounting up has resulted in me being in a constant state of exhaustion!
Whilst Christmas shopping I popped into Selfridges to check out Monkii, I spotted a lady wearing these trousers on the tube and fell in love so when I saw them in Monkii it was fate!

Every winter I love faux fur and this stole from H&M is a recent addition to my ridiculous collection.

So, over the next few weeks I am going to be posting my top 5 favourite items from some of my favourite online stores. First up is Asos and these are the things I would love to receive for Christmas. Or more likely I won't be able to wait and will buy them for myself :)

1. Swan Print Shirt, £35
This is my favourite item and is the best shirt I have seen in a long time! I wear shirts all the time so I NEED this in my life!

2. Polka Dot Bobble Hat, £15
I love bobble hats and I love polka dots so this couldn't be more perfect!

3. Leopard Cuff, £25
This cuff looks so expensive and is something I would wear all the time. I love leopard print!

I rarely wear dresses these days but this is amazing!

I definitely do need a clutch bag, I am so picky when it comes to bag but the tassel and gold details are so cute!

So, I had completely lost my inspiration for blogging over the past few months. This paired with not having an internet connection for nearly 2 months has resulted in no posts from me for quite a while. However I am back now with renewed inspiration and energy.
I've updated my layout slightly, notice the deliberate (ahem) spelling mistake in my title, this will be changed as soon as my housemate and technology guru returns home as he designed my title for me.
So, my favourite shoes of the moment have to be studded, slipper style flats. I had fallen in love with them seasons ago when I spotted many off-duty models wearing similar styles paired with jeans and leggings but failed to find them on the highstreet. In August I picked up my first pair in Topshop and this month I had to buy another pair.

The black pair are literally so battered and I am considering repurchasing them! I will try to post some outfit shots of me wearing them but they look amazing with black jeans and chunky knits!

So I’ve been a bit of a mess recently, feeling a bit down about a lot of things, however I have snapped out of it and am feeling optimistic about the summer ahead of me. I recently modelled for www.shopdixi.com again for their summer collection and here are a pick of my favourite pieces for the lovely warm weather we’ve been experiencing here in London.

I really love these crop tops, I am a fan of crop tops with high waisted levis for summer, its such an easy look to wear and always looks cute and comfortable. They have then in sizes small to large and in three colours, and they’re only £12.00! Such a bargain!

I am also a fan of americana style tshirts, these two are both bargains and are true vintage so you won’t catch anyone else wearing the same thing.

I think accessories are an easy way to update your wardrobe, with cross symbols being some of my favourite pieces at the moment. Dixi has a great selection of cross necklaces from different colour stones which look great with both vests and dresses.

I've always loved Pamela Loves hippie meets grunge style eclectic jewelery however I never have the money to splash out on her pieces. This May her collaboration with Topshop will hit the stores, and although I think it's still quite pricey with prices starting at £50, its a lot cheaper than her usual range.

So not so long ago I handed in a photoessay named; 'The Pursuit of Beauty' in which I depicted different extremes people go to in order to achieve beauty in their eyes. For this project my best friend in the world Milla got tattooed in order for me to depict her ordeal. She actually loves tattoos and being tattooed so barely winced whilst I was snapping away.
She got tattooed at Flamin' Eight in Camden by Harry Johnson. I really love the tattoo and he was really very charming. (Unlike some of the locals who popped in during the 2 hours Milla spend being tattooed.)

I'm currently obsessed with white tshirts/loose knit jumpers and it's all I've been wanting to wear. I decided I need to get out of my comfort zone style-wise and try new things, so I bought these khaki skinny trousers which I actually now love and want to wear constantly :)

Tired and Uninspired

Recently I've been feeling so jaded and uninspired it's been killing me, I've only just started to feel alive again, mainly thanks to my sister visiting me and us having the best few days I've had all year :)
Now I feel like I'm back on track I have lots of shoots coming up and exciting things to look forward to, I modelled for Dixi again yesterday with the lovely Ruth which is always so much fun, the update will be hitting the shop on Sunday so I will blog with my favourite pieces then.
For now I would like to start uploading regular outfit posts, hopefully I'll sort out a set up soon :)

I have begun the process of changing my hair colour recently, I'm at a point where I want lots of things to change and the changes just can't happen soon enough. I stripped the red out of my hair and bleached the ends and added grown out highlights (My sisters a hairdresser I'm very lucky!) I have also accessorised my phone ridiculously but I love it :)

This is one of my favourite outfit I have worn recently. I'm obsessed with slouchy jumpers and crochet so this is perfect, I also love that its white as it makes me feel summery. Christmas/My Birthday

So I've had a major blogging hiatus, which is ironic since one of my new years resolutions was to be more consistent with my blogging! Oh well, I've just got all my things sorted in London so now I'm settled I can get back to it.
I miss home, my family, my kitties and my boy so much already but I'm really glad to be back and reunited with all my friends at the same time.
I was so so lucky this christmas and my birthday so I wanted to share with you just a few of the gifts I got and say thank you to all my lovely lovely friends and family :)

So from my mum I got so much Benefit make-up, which I'm obsessed with, and from Georgie I got a Chanel lipstick! My first piece of Chanel make up and its a plum colour, and its called 'Ballet Russe' so it couldn't be more perfect!

My sisters so cute, I saw her wearing leapard tights and said I liked them so she got me some, and Emily got me the eiffel tower Henry Holland tights I've been wanted for forever :)

So my mum got me this adorable make up bag, and Chanti got me this vintage tea cup to add to my teacup collection :) Also Tina got me this cute eiffel tower soap.

Chanti also got me this lovely lovely Jewellery stand which I've been wanting for ages and it just goes with my room perfectly!

So I decided I didn't have enough jewellery so I got tons for christmas/my birthday and these are a few of them. Claire got me this lovely camera necklace and my mum and dad got me the necklace!

My main birthday present was this Michael Kors watch from my parents :)

My gorgeous little sister bought me this moonstone ring for my birthday.

My sister also got me a lush gingerbread house which is just so sweet!

My aunt, Millas and Jamesy got me some amazing books...

So yes I'm really fortunate and I'm also really optimistic about the year ahead of me and I have set a lot of goals.

Winter Wonderland

So I absolutely love Christmas, this year I've been so busy though that I've hardly had any time to enjoy being festive :( however I have managed to have time to go to winter wonderland in Hyde Park twice! One of the perks of living in london is all the beautiful decorations and markets :)

I got back to devon yesterday, however I'm going to be so busy working and doing a project for uni I'm not sure whether I'll have time to take many devon photos.

Affordable Arts Fair

I had a really great time at this event, I would definitely recommend it to all art enthusiasts. Its a lovely day out, you can get involved in workshops or just browse the art for sale.

Bermondsey

I got to explore different areas of London as a part of my work on the paper which was really interesting, I particularly enjoyed Bermondsey as all the cafes and restaurants were lovely.

Frock Me Vintage Fair

This vintage fair was truely amazing! You could pick up some really great vintage dresses for bargain prices.

Trends: Glasses

So I didn't actually get to choose the trends, glasses was a bit of a weird one but I liked how the pictures turned out.

Mick Rock Exhibition

This exhibition was in Shoreditch and it was actually terrible I just really liked his work.

Movember

This was actually really fun, getting up close and personal to a lot of moustaches and all for a good cause!

So I stumbled across this label whilst browsing the internet and I absolutely fell in love with the styling of the lookbook, the models and of course the jewellery. I'm really into stacking rings and this label does the most beautiful rings! They really remind me of Whitney Port, not sure if she actually wears them but they're the same style as some I've seen her wear!

So today I ordered my favourite faux fur tippet and a couple of rings which I'll show in a later post, however the dresses and boots are slightly out of my price range at the moment but I can still dream. Here are my favourites...

This dress from Dahlia is quite girlie for me however I just love the colour and the back detail, I also have an obsession with velvet.

One of my favourite labels on Asos is TBA so here are my 2 favourite dresses of theirs although I would love to own all of them.

Another label which I love is Reiss 1971 and there's just something about this casual dress which I fell in love with, I can just imagine it paired with heeled black ankle boots.

These boots are unlike any others I've seen on the highstreet and I just love their shape and that they're different from the chunky boot which I usually prefer.

The lace up detail on these boots is just perfect, they would go with everything I own!

This is one of the regular items I plan on writing for the blog, with just 3 random things I've been liking/disliking/anything that don't really warrant a whole blog post/it generally saves me time.

1. Plum Lipstick!

I've become obsessed with Plum lipstick, I don't actually own any, but after trying on Camilla's (Dark Deed from Mac's Venomous Villains Collections) I have decided it is a must have for my make up collection. I thought at first I wouldn't be able to pull off a dark lip because of my red hair, but as long as its more purple toned I think it works. It just different to my usual nude lip/smokey eye look.

2. Grow a moustache for Movember, So November is upon us, and I'm already counting down till Christmas. But November is the month when all boys should grow a moustache to raise awareness for mens cancers and raise money for charity!

I was the lucky lady assigned to the piece on Movember for the London Arts News so I spent a couple of days grabbing guys and photographing their upper lips. I am now a moustache connoisseur .

3. My mums coming to visit me a week today (or 7 sleeps as I prefer to put it) and I'm literally so excited! I plan on spending as much time as possible with her whilst she's here and baking some cute cupcakes ready for her arrival! I haven't baked in far too long!

So I did another shoot for Dixi recently, which as usual I styled and modelled in, It's always so much fun working with Ruth and the photos always turn out really well.
Nicola from Britains Next Top Model also modelled for this update, which I'm sure all the Top Model fans are excited about :)

This coat is perfect with the faux fur collar and gold buttons, I also love red coats :)

I have a constant obsession with leapard print so this shirt is absolutely amazing! It's also sheer which I love!

Checked shirts are always such an easy throw on, I love the colour of this one!

I got to keep this blouse and I wear it all the time, I have so many sheer blouses and they look great with faux fur!

Again, my love for leapard print, I also love scarves tied in this way round the head, looks great with chunky knits.

So, I've been so busy these past 2 weeks it feels so good to finally sit down with a mug of hot chocolate and give my blog some much needed attention. I love this jumper, I went early morning Primark shopping this morning and it was literally amazing! I got this jumper and the tights :) The boots are docmartens I've had for ages!

So, I model and style for the lovely shop www.shopdixi.com and I did another shoot a few weeks ago for the first batch of autumn and winter clothes. Autumn/Winter is my favourite clothes wise because I love layering with cute knits and hats so all the clothes were just perfect and I got to have a lot of fun with the styling.

I love the beige boots here, and I love cable knit jumpers and faux fur headbands/hats, such a classic winter look.

This dress is just lovely, and you can really accessorise it in lots of different ways, I love it with clogs though.

This dress reminds me of a sexy bat, can't get much better than that :)

I love this cable knit cardigan, and the school girl socks are so cute!

And I'm seriously obsessed with rings and I love turquoise so these rings are amazing!

So, when I'm in London I love treating myself to a cupcake every once in a while, since they taste amazing and look so cute! I also bake my own when I'm at home in Devon. However although there is an abundance of cupcake shops in London I couldn't seem to get hold of any at my family house in Devon, until now!

Truly Treats were selling all sorts of amazing cakes at my local market and I just had to try their multicoloured pink and purple cakes as I had never seen anything like them before, and they tasted as good as they looked :)

So I was asked to shoot some lookbook photos for the bespoke London tailor Orhan, based in Old Street. All the clothes were absolutely beautiful and my models worked very hard all day to get the perfect shots! It was a great day which I thoroughly enjoyed and I love the final images, I also shot in black and white film however I still have a stack of film to get developed...

I have loved leapard print for years so I'm so pleased that there's so much of it around his season! This Leapard playsuit is one of my favourite things ever, its so easy to wear in many different ways!

I already have the topshop leopard fur coat from years ago and an amazing leopard tunic I got from a charity shop along with the playsuit but I definitely plan on adding to my collection.

So, I did a shoot for shopdixi.com with my sister modelling, as Ruth Allen is away on holiday, and my next shoot with her isn't till August 17th, and here are some of my favourite items which I photographed...

My handmade bracelets, I only made 4 and each is one of a kind and perfect for summer :)

My Floral Headbands, which I love and I wear all the time.

This gorgeous playsuit, which I actually bought for my sister because it looked so amazing on her!

Ahh, everything about this outfit I love, the dress had such a cute peter pan collar and the bag is amazingggggg, as are the cute little socks which I got to keep and I plan to wear very soon :)

I've been having an absolutely lovely past week, been working minimal amount which makes a change, however I have been regularly updating my ebay which has been keeping me busy. My good friend Taz has moved out of our flat and next year will be studying in Paris! I absolutely can't wait to visit her as I loveeee Paris :) and I just scanned in more pictures of when I went in January, I really need to book some summer holidays, I'm going to Milan mid August and Reading Festival at the end of August so farr, any suggestionss?

Girl crush of the moment... Ophelia Lovibond

After seeing her in Nowhere Boy (which I've still only seen parts of but really need to watch it properly) and on front rows of fashion week in Miu Miu, I have been in love with Ophelia Lovibond.

Her fashion choices are along the same vein of clothes worn by Zoey Deschanel, who I love also. I adored Ophelias choice of red carpet attire for the Nowhere Boy premiere, which was different to the boring body con dresses and floor length gowns worn usually by actresses. The navy blue colour and the peter pan collar make this dress refreshingly youthful and fun! I want it!

And here she is more recently at Coachella, looking stunning in a vintage looking playsuit, hair bow and glasses. I love a playsuit and a hair bow so I adore this look!

In other news I've had the loveliest week, spent with the best people soaking up the amazing sunshine we've had in london! I've had a picnic in Greenwich park, a rooftop BBQ and sushi in soho park! Photos to follow as soon as I've processed them :)
